# Mintable
The Mintable tab will allow you to create additional tokens in your overall supply. In this section you can complete the following operations:
1. Mint more tokens to add to the maximum total supply
2. Mint tokens directly to a specified wallet address
3. Renounce the Mintable function
To add to the maximum total supply, simply input the new value you want for your new total supply in the *Max Total Supply* textbox, then select the button and approve the transaction in your Web3 Wallet.
The Current Total Supply in the Summary page will then update to the new supply once the transaction has been completed.

To mint new tokens and send them directly to another wallet address, simply enter the walet address in the *Address* textbox, enter the amount of tokens you want to mint in the *Mint Amount* textbox and select the button. Approve the transaction in your Web3 Wallet and that wallet will receive newly minted tokens.

Use caution when choosing to mint tokens and send them to another address. This can cause concern with investors in your community and any of these decisions need to be well thought out and communicated clearly before they are made.
